There are books we close after the last page. And there are books that keep working inside us long after we have finished them.

TÂLC – Therapeutic Stories about Life, Trauma and Transformation is one of those books that does not set out to give answers, but to open questions.

I invite you to the launch of the book, in a format unlike anything a classic book launch means.

We will not meet only to talk about the writing process or about the author. The book will become the pretext for a living conversation about our own lives. About the way stories build our identity, about the relationships that have changed us, about loss, belonging, freedom and transformation.

Together we will explore fragments from the book, open up dialogues and leave room for the questions that have no simple answers. The meeting will be interactive and experiential, on the border between literature, psychology and philosophical reflection.

At the end, we will stay together over a drink and a free conversation, because sometimes the most important encounters begin after the event seems to have ended.

Our hosts generously offer the setting for this meeting, and the only request is that each guest supports the space with a minimum consumption of 30 RON at the bar.

About the author

Gina Denisa Goian is a clinical psychologist, a psychotherapist specializing in Unifying Experiential Psychotherapy, an art therapist and a family constellations facilitator.

She works with people going through periods of transition, career change, loss, grief, crisis and personal transformation.

She is the founder of the project „Ancore în adânc” (Anchors in the Deep), a space dedicated to reflection, mental health and the dialogue between psychology, literature, philosophy and human experience.

She writes regularly for specialist publications, and her essays explore themes such as meaning, identity, relationships, grief, suffering and the processes of inner transformation.
